Shiny Shiny Black will be showcasing at Farmette 2026 alongside many wonderful Midwest artists. Our studio, Nimble Wit Productions, hosts a showcase room "The Goshen Lounge" at Farmette - which features artists Abbie Thomas, Jordan A Wilson, Joel Gragg, Bobcat Opossum, Allie Jean Burbrink, Anna p.s., Scott E Eckart, Jonathan Reuel and more! Passes are available now for this all day event at IUSB in South Bend.
FARMette is a one-day music networking and showcasing conference designed to elevate the voices of folk and singer-songwriters in Indiana while fostering connections with industry partners who hire them—festivals, fairs, venues, and more. This conference celebrates the transformative power of music and community, inviting participants to rekindle their sense of purpose and creativity. Afternoon programming will feature ten simultaneous showcase rooms sponsored by Indiana music venues and artist services.
FARMette 2026 will take place at IU South Bend. There will be a kick-off event hosted by South Bend Venues Parks & Art June 5 featuring Bobcat Opossum from 6 - 8 pm at Seitz Park and a wrap up event hosted by Shiny Shiny Black & Friends at Chicory Cafe from noon-2 pm Sun. June 7.

Live from 12 PM – 2 PM, we welcome Shiny Shiny Black, an award-winning alternative folk duo from Goshen, IN. Featuring wife-and-husband songwriters Nate and Amber Butler, their sound has been described as “U2 meets Tom Petty.” Their music blends rich harmonies, heartfelt storytelling, and themes of growth and perseverance — the perfect soundtrack for a Sunday afternoon.
