We were sad to announce this week that our last show of the season scheduled for Oct. 3 in Goshen at the Courthouse Pub has been cancelled. It’s been a beautiful thing meeting many of you at our shows this year! We really enjoyed our time on the road in the last month while performing in Mishawaka, Indianapolis, South Bend, Lafayette and Nappanee (Indiana, we love you!)
We aren’t going anywhere, but our focus is changing for the winter months… we look forward to continue sharing our music (new and old) with you during this period, and for starting up live shows again in the spring! Meanwhile, Nate & Amber will welcome their second baby in November, a momentous occasion that has helped us as a band take a step back, look at the big picture and prepare for changes on the horizon – both in our family lives, personal goals and the way that integrates with our creative and business lives.
It’s not unusual for artists to find that our dreams and goals seem at odds with daily practicalities, and this is perhaps even more the case with artists who are also parents. Most of all we are excited to embrace deeper growth, and keep uncovering the next adventure!
Thank you for each way that you are part of the Shiny Shiny Black story!
